2022 - 2023 Scheduled Activities

Pack Meetings

Troop meetings are typically held at Creech Elementary's cafeteria the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm but the exact date may change due to a KISD holiday.

Camping

For Fall 2022, we will be attending Cuboree at Bovay Scout Ranch the weekend of October 28-30, 2022.

For Spring 2023, we will be camping at Huntsville State Park.

Space Derby

For the 2022-2023 Space Derby, we are still looking at dates.

Pinewood Derby

We will hold our Pinewood Derby tentatively on Saturday, February 4 (location TBA). Pinewood Derby kits will be for sale at December's pack meeting for $5.00 cash only, please bring exact change.

Our Pack Cut date will be Saturday, January 7 from 10AM to 12PM (location TBA).

Blue and Gold Banquet

We will hold our Blue and Gold Banquet February 25, 2023 7PM - 9PM (location TBA).

Fishing Derby

We will hold a fishing derby in April (exact date TBA) at Cinco Ranch Beach Club.

Come out for our Pack's Fishing Derby!

Fishing's Future will be onsite to teach us how to fish!

9:00am - 9:10am - Fishing Presentation

9:10am - 9:50am - Learning how to cast - Backyard Bass Activity

10am - 11:00am fishing (1 hour will be good if it is cold)

11:15am - 12noon - awards - end

Fishing's Future will bring fishing equipment for those who need it.

For those who want to bring their own equipment they recommend:

Spincast, spinning, or cane poles

small size #6 - #10 hooks

small #5 weights (the type that you attach to the fishing line) Clip-on

Small pieces of red worms, Mealworms, Corn, small pieces of hotdogs.
