Bear - Third Grade

Our Goals   This is the year your son or daughter will grow in amazing ways. They will have exciting new adventures which will challenge them in new ways.  After earning their Bear Badge, the scout may earn belt loops by completing additional adventures.

Summary Much of the advancement for the Bear rank is done by the scout with their family outside of the den.  The parent signs off in the scout's handbook and the Den Leader records the advancements from the handbook on a tracking chart.  The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement, but you will see this gradually change with the scout doing more with his or her den and more individual direction as they graduates to Webelos.
