Our Goals  A family, home, and community centered program that encourages ethical decision-making skills.

Summary  The youth participate with their adult partners. The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding.

Tiger Trail- Cub  Scout Family Activities/Badges

Bobcat Badge:

Bobcat is designed to be the first required Adventure. It is focused on character and leadership, and introduces the values of Scouting to you and your Tiger Cub. 

Scout Law is introduced. The Scout demonstrates the Scout motto, "Do Your Best." The Scouts legal guardian will complete review "Youth Protection" booklet. 

Team Tiger Badge: 

This Adventure is focused on citizenship.  For Tiger Bus, citizenship starts with family.  Adult partners will choose a job for the Scout to do that will help the family. 

The den will play games and discuss being part of team.  The Den will participate in a service project. 

Tigers Roar Badge: 

This Adventure will be done completely at home. The topic is about personal safety awareness. 

Activities include: What would a Scout say to someone they fear may harm them, accessing emergency services, knowing what to do if you are lost and separated from your family. 

Tigers Circles Badge: 

The  topic will be reviewed at home.  The focus is to explore your family's faith and traditions.  Activity will include identifying holidays/celebrations and carrying out at act of kindness.

Tigers in the Wild Badge: 

Nature continues to be the best place for children to learn and discover. Being outdoors has proven benefits for youth and adults.  Activtie s for this badge include: identifying Cub Scout essentials, learning about Outdoor code, taking a walk outside, identifying man-made and natural thing, identifying common animal, looking for trees and describing how they are helpful. 

Tiger Bites Badge: 

Personal fitness is about proper nutrition, hygiene, exercise and rest. Children who develop habits and an early age are more likely to continue those into adulthood.  Activities include: identifying the 5 food groups, practicing handwashing, being active for 30 minutes, practicing methods that help you sleep.
